“The first thing is when you arrive at bus terminal go across the street at the Swiss tour office and wait for guide. Better than standing outside avoiding buses. Our guide Roger was very nice and accommodating but his voice was very hard to make out while he was driving and speaking thru microphone describing scenery 0n our excursion. We got to sample both & ate fondue at a wonderful restaurant in the old town of Gruyere overlooking the mountains & the beautiful green valley between. Unexpectedly, the highlight of the trip for me was the tour through the castle with ramparts, furnishings & paintings which allowed me to imagine what life must have been like there in past times. Through it all, Gabor was an excellent guide - highly recommend.”

“It’s worth noting that this is a shared trip and most of the group boards at Geneva, so depending on traffic it’s possible for the transport to arrive up to 30 minutes after the start time (this happened to us). Apart from this, our tour was excellent and we had a great guide. We loved the village of Gruyère and felt there was just enough time to explore. The visit to Maison Gruyère could have been a bit shorter though and would have given more time in the village.
